I was once shot at (or nearly at) AFTER I cleared the rang to reset my target. I called "RANGE CLEAR" and received "Clear" in response and I headed down range. As I was reseting my target.....BLAM and the ground 5 feet to my right exploded. I pulled my pistol from my holster and took aim and yelled "Drop your weapon or I start shooting back" I was not kidding.

The party in questions was, and I kid you not; 4 Arab guys and one hot girl sharing a revolver. They all started yelling at the one shooting and he realized that I was standing right next to his target. A very strange look came over his face is he went from realizing that he shot at his target while I was standing next to it to the fact that I was pointing my weapon at him. His friends scattered to the sides and he dropped the revolver, saying "sorry, sorry, sorry". I did not re-holster my weapon but did drop the barrel. They left right away.
